Why I’m running
After thoughtful consideration, prayer, and the unwavering support of my family and friends, I’m running for Texas State Representative for House District 37. For years I’ve served our community in education, public health, and policy—standing with families, teachers, health professionals, veterans, and neighbors across the Rio Grande Valley. I’m running because HD-37 deserves a strong, informed, and committed voice in Austin—one who listens, leads with compassion, and delivers practical solutions that lift everyone.

As an educator and mom, I’ll champion safe classrooms, competitive pay, and resources that put learning first—not culture wars—so every child in the Valley can thrive.
Lower Costs & Property Tax Relief
Families are stretched thin. I’ll fight to lower the cost of living, protect homeowners, and make sure state dollars serve people—not special interests so our community can breathe a little easier.
Water, Infrastructure & Flood Resilience
We need reliable water systems, drainage that works, and roads that connect people to opportunity. I’ll bring state investment home and cut red tape to get projects moving now.
